DENIM FLOWER SKIRT

KNEE LENGTH DENIM FLOWER SKIRT £12.50 SIZE 10-12What a fab way to do up a denim skirt. I have sold several, in fact I cant keep up with them!
I found this flowery fabric which I have made into hats, curtains bags etc,it is cotton, curtain weight.

I took a plain denim skirt and cut out enough flowers to decorate it with.

I painted around each flower with navy blue fabric paint so that I could use navy thread to sew on the flowers without the stitches showing to much.

I pinned on the flowers slightly overlapping them in a squiggly line, a bit more interesting!

Then I zig-zagged them in place.

BEAUTIFUL BAGS

Shoulder bag in deep red damask type fabric.Fully lined in dark orange cotton to match the orange flowers on the pocket. I used a piece of my own screen printed material (little flowers) to make the handy pocket on the front. £9.00.
I made two of these roomy summery bags. They are great for shopping, picnics,beach or whatever! I used a panel of screen printed fabric which I coloured by hand,my own fabric,(Flower garden).I edged the panel with patchwork and lined the bag in burnt orange cotton. £10.00.

Angel wing shoulder bags.There are two different style wings which are printed onto rainbow coloured fabric, which i also printed myself. I used all the fabrics and trimmings that make us think of something an angel would adore. A pink velvet heart on pink net. Shiny white fabric for the bag. Each wing is cut out and the edges left raw,they will fray a little and become feathery. However,the wings were zig-zagged on so they are secure.I edged each wing with fluffy white wool which has soft matt ribbony stuff twisted into it,and an iridescent sparkly thread intertwined.(Sorry so hard to describe!) Fully lined in white cotton, machine washable,(I know because I spilt coffee on mine!) £10.00.

FAIRY T-SHIRTS AND BAGS

This is what I did with my fairy and angel designs. I coloured them on my scanner program, then printed them onto t-shirt transfers.I ironed them onto hand made bags and t-shirts.
