Blue spotty elephant...such fun..a lovely pressy for a child.

Flower angel cushion , my latest design for my little cushions. Lovely pastel colours...pretty and delicate.

I don't think a photo does these bags justice....I have four left now.....They are fully lined, made from shiny white fabric with applique wings. The wings were hand printed onto rainbow coloured fabric which I also printed....I then cut them out and sewed them on leaving the edges raw.I sewed ribbon yarn near to the edges using a close zig-zag. The yarn is a kind of papery ribbon around which is twisted a soft fluffy thinner yarn and iridescent fine glittery thread.This allows the wings to fray a little..adding to the angel effect. I then sewed a heart of pink velour onto net and placed this at the join of the wings..........To me this bag is everything 'angelic'.....I used all the components we think of when we think of angels.

Such pretty heart fabric...the wings have little hearts on them... I had fun choosing the buttons...she has an embroidered face.

SMOCK.ANGEL BAG,DENIM SKIRT,ORANGE T-SHIRT

A pretty smock top size 12...it has gathered pockets with flower trim...my own pattern.

This is a new design...little flower angel..she is holding a garland of flowers....This is a pretty little unlined tote bag...I sewed odd buttons onto the ends of the handles...I machined them first so they are strongly attached.

This is a bought denim skirt that I decorated with a large flower. I appliqued it on then sewed a circle of gold net and a smaller circle of silk to the centre.

This top is so soft...it is velour onto which I have sewn silk flowers and leaves with machine embroidery...The colour is more of a burnt orange!

LIAM AND ME...ANGEL DOLL...FLOWERS

The reason for posting this is that Liam will be eleven this coming Sunday...time has flashed by.

This photo was taken in the early hours when I was baby sitting. Claire had been clubbing and when she returned we were up....having a cuddle in our pj's.....

I know I look a bit rough but I was expecting Charlie.....and I had hardly any sleep.

My neighbour Michelle gave me these...I only got her cat in from the rain.....A big fluffy black grumpy thing with attitude...like the one in' Stuart Little'........I also fed her new kitten a bit of mashed up stuff.....but quite frankly Charlie and I just had a lovely time playing with the kitten for half an hour....doubled up in laughter at her antics....and for that I got these lovely flowers......Take note Colin!

I have just finished this 16" square cushion.....it has a zip and inner pad.

I hand painted it....then quilted it deeply to make the angel stand out.....

It is machine embroidered....

Really I made this for my self.....I often do this....things come out better if I make it for me...but I cant keep every thing.....its on eBay !

Here I am at eleven o'clock blogging for the third night in a row...I have been to work....done boring stuff like cooking etc...painted angel cushions ...taken photos...put stuff on eBay.. now blogging...even missed Eastenders....so tired !

This picture is about 50"x 50".....

I painted it on fabric and did deep quilting on it...it is machine embroidered...I the had it stretched and framed without glass...I am very proud of this...it was sold before I had finished it......I will do a similar painting when I get a chance.

My latest mermaid cushion....The fabric already has the wavy lines reminiscent of under water ...I really like the colour....on eBay at the moment.

What can I say....Mum had this photo hidden away.....taken one fire work night.....I love dressing up...will dig out a few more...

DOLL,GIRLY BAG,HEART,BUTTERFLY,JASMIN

Hand made rag doll..last one left....embroidered face...little felt shoes that tie like ballet shoes..stripy tights and a pinafore drees with a pocket and flower.....cute.

An unlined bag with poodles, hand bags and roses......the fabric made me laugh....great for grown up girls or little girls.....I keep tights in mine.

Another heart cushion...I have just sold a deep red one...I think they are great for pining brooches on......or amongst other cushions on a bed......Lovely soft navy-blue velvet...very tactile.

Another butterfly cushion ...each one is different....I never repeat anything exactly, its good to know that no one else has one the same.....unlike shop bought items.

I have hand painted and quilted the front ,and added machine embroidery.

Jasmin is definitely an angel.....love her...love her...love her.......

RAINBOW STRIPY CAT CUSHION

This is the last one......I gave him an applique face and flower on his tummy as I thought it would look cool...they make me giggle...I don't really like making stuffed things so they go with my moods as it where......I love painting and making clothes... that's my thing!

FLOWERY SUN HATS

Where is the sun?

Nothing but rain...yesterday was so lovely...I did a bit in the garden...now its pouring down and it looks like the weekend will be the same.

Every thing has been going wrong......my car won't work, I need a new alternator...what ever that is, dad recons it will cost me about £140...AAAGGGHHHH!

The computer go a virus and put its self into quarantine...we had to wipe off everything (for the second time)...and I lost tons of work.

Above is a close up detail of a flower I made , if you click on it you should be able to see the machine embroidery and sequins.

Another close up...this flower is made from silk.

This hat is also medium....I sell these hats for £8.50..that is still a bargin concidering they are one-offs...hand made and interfaced.

I will be trying these on eBay...but I am afraid my prices will be going up....things have been selling very cheaply and unless they go for more I wont be able to repeat on them.

It really is so hard to know what to do...if I put items on eBay at the right price they dont go...everyone wants a bargain!

However ....I have some regular customers who have given me really good feedback and whom have sent lovely personal messages.....thats what its all about.

Thanks to you all.. I have only had the shop on eBay for a few weeks...and so far it is going quite well. I have two other outlets so Im up to my eyebrows... I do all the work myself....except in that Colin puts my things on eBay.....So when you read the descriptions dont think Im blowing my own trumpet....that and the bad grammer are all down to Colin!!!!!

PAINTINGS,MERMAID,MY LAVENDER

I took some time over this painting...I added a lot of detail and used silver paint to add details and reflect the light.

I did a B.Tec national diploma in art and design......I was going to university to do a fine

art degree.....but found I was expecting Charlie.

I have had to put a lot of my work on hold .....but such is life, my children are my life...

My work comes second.

I will be putting this painting on eBay soon......Acrylic on canvas.....I kept the colours subtle and the background fairly neutral so that it would go with most colour schemes.

I am pleased with this painting, simple groovy flowers.

A close up of my latest mermaids face, all hand embroidered...she ended up being quite well developed!! She has a tiny waist and curvy hips....unlike me...since I had Charlie I seem to have lost my waist!

This photo shows the embroidery on her tail and all the sequins I sewed on whilst watching Eastenders.This picture does not really do her justice...she looks much nicer in the flesh.....

My lavender bush.....my mum said it had had it this year as I did not cut it back when I should have.....Colin butchered it untill there was practically nothing left!

My heart sunk....but look at it now.......I can make loads more lavender bags...they smell georgious.

HAT.BROOCHES BAG .FRIDGE MAGNETS

Lovely hat made from thick t-shirt cotton.

I could not get a good close up of these brooches...there are two more which I will put on later as have to re-photograph theme! They are hand made and embroidered and beaded.

A very 'girly' bag.....what more can I say.

This bag is un-lined......great for storing tights....or stockings! ....Or anything else come to that!

HATS

Hand printed child's hat... applique star on the top.

Lovely wide brimmed hat...fully lined....the fabric has little silver flowers.....
Cool modern abstract print.....fully lined large brimmed hat.

Only about two of these left now....I hand printed the flower and appliqued it on...also adding some thick lurex thread around the brim.

A sweet little child's hat...all my hats are fully lined.
